Title: The Human Side of Medical Device Development Date & time: Mon., 17 Nov. 2008; 5:30-7pm The talk will, in part, be about testing for the potential for human errors at the development stage of medical device development. Bios: Reade Harpham is the Director of Industrial Design and HF and a member of HFES; he graduated from OSU in Industrial Design. Dave Wourms has an educational background in the Behavioral Sciences; he has experience interacting with and managing human-systems integration related projects for DoD and non-DoD government research laboratories and program offices. Speakers are affliated with Battelle Memorial Institute.
